ROCKZONE.COM has been in existence since 1997, and it's beginnings go years before that. After spending years with Stephen Bozzone (Director) one-manning the operation, Samuel & Rayanna Barker came along and helped take ROCKZONE.COM to the next level. As they moved onto other projects, Jason Cipriano took over duties as Senior Editor. Thanks to Jason slaving many hours laying out stories and a rabid team of staff and contributors from around the world, you have ROCKZONE.COM of the present day.

When ROCKZONE.COM was conceptualized, it was meant to be a fun and resourceful medium for fans and critics to follow opinion and coverage of the rock music scene. While our coverage now extends into almost all genre's of music, our mission is still to bring unbiased and original no-nonsense coverage to the music community.

We figure this: You can go anywhere to get a review. With this thought in mind, we take our reviewing seriously and go in-depth with our critiques of recordings and shows. With reviewers from all around the world, a unique oppertunity to try to avoid (or even exploit) regional bias. We try to be as objective as possible, but as anyone who's earnestly tried to do so has realized--it's not that easy. Because of this, we encourage every reader to use their own voice and either contest or concur with our writing.
