Clichés aside, upon review of her new release, it is difficult to deny that Teresa Cole's music is hotter than a firecracker in a nuclear site. In fact, an explosion is imminent.
Throughout Just a Matter of Time, Cole effortlessly flows in and out of each selection while exercising vocal calisthenics that would cause many to become green with envy.
The first single, "What Do You Think," is an uptempo dance floor darling that will maintain its vibrations long after the needle has escaped the wax groove. Selections "How It's Gonna Be" and "Read Between Tha Lines" seem certain to be contending follow-ups.
Equally, and on the slower end of the spectrum, you definitely don't want to miss Teresa's downtempo selections titled, "I Wanna Be Your Lady," "Not Good Enough" and "Come Back to Me."
In an age of music, whereby, the average release has possibly one, perhaps two decent songs at best, with the remainder consisting of filler, it is ingratiating to discover a consistency throughout a repertoire.
